0-60 mph: 3.6 seconds

Engine: DOHC 4 / valves 5.7-liter V-10
This Porsche's sports car is an open two-seater that comes with an easy to use roof made of lightweight carbon.
Originally Carrera GT was built for the street, however it is obvious that it is a racing car. It produced such monstrous amounts of horse power from its V10 engine that labeling it a simple street car is totally inappropriate. It easily qualifies to be named a super car. Carrera GT extends the possibilities of road driving and racing to the whole new level. It features an engine that easily tops the charts of the most powerful and fastest road cars.
With its imposing rear wing, this super sports car is easily spottable from any angle as a powerful and fast presence on the road.
Carrera engine has an incredibly low (even for a supercar) gravity center, a sixty-eight degree V angle and 4 valves for each head of cylinder. It's engine weights astonishingly only 214 kg (472 lbs).
911 model has been Porsche's top selling car for over three decades, however when the new Carrera GT with its specific style and substance came out, it quickly took the crown of top selling Porsche sports car. As of May 2006, 1,270 Carrera GT's had been sold.

The Lamborghini Murcielago is one of the best performance cars available on the market today. Production on this vehicle started in the early years of 2001 and the model is still being produced today. It was designed by the notorious designer Luc Donckerwolke who has designed various cars of similar origin over the years. If you are closely involved in the supercar industry, this name would sound familiar to you because as you would know he is an award winning designer and you can be confident when purchasing his designs because they are of outstanding quality.

The Lamborghini Murcielage is available in various different colors to suit the taste and preferences of the driver. No matter what color design I look at and from whatever angle I look at this car from, I can't find one outstanding feature that I am disappointed with. The name Murcielago is a Spanish word meaning 'bat' that comes from a 1879 fight where a bull survived 24 sword strokes. The bull was such a tremendous fighter that his life was spared and went on to be a famous fighting bull. The body design is very aerodynamic and when you think of the name of this supercar, this model of car is the body design that comes to the mind of the average person. Such designs have also been using in various computer games including the Grand Theft Auto series.

The fact that it can be driven on the highway as well as on the race-track is really amazing. This car does not use any special aviation fuel like most of the supercars and yet it is known to outperform it's rival cars like the Porsche, Ferrari or Lamborghini. Ford Motor Company has decided to produce only 4200 GT sports car units in the 2005-2006 years. Depending on chosen accessories, retail price varies from $143,000 to $157,000. Ford GT is really incredible when it comes to its racing performance. In 0-60mph test GT (3.3 sec) beats a $193,000 Ferrari Challenge Stradale (4.0 sec) by 0.7 seconds.
Ford GT features 18-inch front wheels, 19-inch rear wheels and GoodYear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. All GT models share one common design element, which makes their exterion look so amazing. The doors are cut into the roof of the car, this fact gives itr a very specific and exotic look.

Lamborghini Concept S

2005 Lamborghini Concept S
Lamborghini Concept S specs
Engine: 5 liter V-10 500 HP
Lamborghini Concept S concept car was perhaps one of the most awaited sports supercars at the Geneva Motor Show a few years back. Everyone had their expectations high thanks to the Lamborghini tradition of producing sports cars and supercars and they were not disappointed. Lamborghini stole their hearts and stole the show eventually with the introduction of Lambirghini Concept S. It is a concept car designed by the Head of Design at Lamborghini, Luc Donckerwolke. He considers this sports car an embodiment of the open car concept. He got a few awards for this supercar when it got introduced.

The sports car as such is great looking and has been modeled like the classic single-seated racing cars of the yesteryears. The traditional windscreen has been replaced by a 'sauté¶ent,' which happens to be the French term for change wind. It goes on to divide the interior of the super sports car into two sections, giving it a slick yet aggressive look. It is so strategically placed that in addition to giving an awesome look, it also serves as an air inlet for the mounted engine which is placed behind the seats. There is an electronically operated rearview mirror which is mounted in the middle of two cockpits. It can be used by the driver when he wants and can be hidden when not used. The body of Lamborghini Concept S supercar is designed aerodynamically and it makes it more efficient.

Though based on the super cool sports car Lamborghini Gallardo, the design team has labored hard to make this car look unique and hence a few aesthetically appealing changes have been made. The supercar's front and rear spoilers have been slightly remodeled and the twin offset grilles in an angular honeycomb pattern are just amazing to look at and rear of the concept car has been loaded with black mesh vents and the well-placed flush mounted tail pipes and the rear diffuser has been slightly reshaped. Simply put, when you look at the sports car inch by inch, the style quotient is evident everywhere and the design really makes you wonder how many hours of work went into come up with this kind of stylish look.

You would imagine this kind of a stunning supercar to have a dynamic engine and that is exactly what you get here. The 5.0 liter V-10 engine is the same engine used in the Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe. This 500 horsepower engine is very powerful and makes for one heck of a drive. The body of Lamborghini Concept S sports car is around 70 kg (154 lbs) lighter than that of Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe, thanks to the aerodynamically designed body. It has an elegantly designed 6 speed manual gearbox and the engine has an output of 4500 rpm. With these kinds of features, you would expect a car like this to literally fly on the roads, and it certainly lives up to the expectations. You can clock from 60 mph to 200 mph in about four seconds, which makes it a driver's dream. If you are the kind of driver who loves to race his heart out, then the Lamborghini Concept S is just about the perfect sports car for you.

Chrysler ME Four-Twelve

Top Speed: 248 mph / 399 kph
0-60 mph: 2.9 seconds
0-100 mph: 6.2 seconds
0 - 1/4 Mile: 10.6 sec @ 142 mph
Engine: Quad Turbo 6.0-liter V-12
The Chrysler ME Four Twelve supercar is considered the most advanced concept car to have come out of Chrysler. It has the perfect combination of high power engine, to-die-for looks, and great performance. Let´s get into the details first.

To begin with, something has to be said about the looks. To say that this sports car looks great would be simply an understatement. If you are a supercar lover and have a fantasy for stylish sports cars, this one will definitely make your jaw drop out of awe. The supercar body is simply stunning. The ME Four-Twelve is made of carbon fiber to make it very light-weight. In fact, carbon fiber and aluminum and other light-weight materials were the ones mostly used to build this concept sports car. It is said that it took less than one year for Chrysler to come up with this beauty. If that is true, then those guys need to be awarded for their super fast creative brains. The supercar body is complete with chrome-moly sub frames and stylish aluminum crush structures and which not only add to the style quotient, but also complies with the federal impact regulations. Overall, the sports car is sturdy and yet at the same time looks extremely stylish thanks to the tons of work that went into the conceptualization.

The interior is surprisingly spacious for a concept car that is just around 45 inches tall. There is ample leg room and there is a huge glass roof panel from the windshield to the rear header. The suspension consists aluminum control arms of double wishbones, stainless steel push rods, anti roll bar, and a power-assisted steering. All the openings in the sports car body have been optimized to enhance the thermal performance. The driver´s space is intelligently designed to accommodate even tall people comfortably.

The Chrysler ME Four Twelve supercar has a dynamic ME quad-turbo, V-12 engine which lives up to its expectations. For the uninitiated, it is a Mid Engine with four turbochargers, twelve cylinder engine. The engine is taken care of by a high-efficiency cooling system which makes sure the engine stays cool all the time. It is amazingly conceptualized to get maximum thermal performance, which makes the ME Four-Twelve stand apart from other sports cars in its genre. It gives you an unbelievable top speed of 248 mph (399 km/h), enough to compete with any other concept car in its genre. You can clock 0-60 mph within 2.9 seconds and 0-100 mph in 6.2 seconds. With this kind of speed, you would expect the braking system to be doubly efficient, and it is just that good. The braking system consists of huge 15 inch disc brake rotors and six-piston mono block calipers. What this means is you can hit the brake comfortably even at very high speeds and the sports car will come to a screeching halt. The disc brake rotors are carbon ceramic composite and the calipers are made of aluminum to enhance the performance. The Chrysler ME Four Twelve supercar is also fitted a lot of active and passive aerodynamic equipment to give it optimum performance at even very high speeds.

Leblanc Mirabeau

Leblanc Mirabeau
Leblanc Mirabeau specs
Top Speed: 230 mph / 370 km/h
Engine: 700 HP Aluminum V8 Superchared
Europe has created some serious supercars, but the 2005 Leblanc Mirabeau has a class of its own. The European creation is allegedly qualified to compete at the race track in Le Mans, France, but unlike other race cars, is completely street legal. The 2005 Mirabeau boasts a price tag of $579,000 and an almost unlimited number of customization options - including the installation of a modern Formula 1 engine.

Street-Legal Race Car
The Leblanc Mirabeau is build like a race car. A frame of titanium and magnesium supports the lightweight, carbon-fiber body. Even the interior of this sports car mimics a racecar with an almost barren feel. The interior, however, can be modified to meet your personal preferences including leather, special engine upgrades, and really anything else you can think of.
Leblanc Mirabeau picture
A Customer Focus
Leblanc also knows how to make customers feel special. If an interested party would like to make modifications to their Leblanc Mirabeau, they may call the engineering department directly. It makes sense that paying more than half-a-million dollars for an automobile entitles owners to a few extra perks. Even so, Leblanc is known among supercar manufacturers for its customer service and personalization.

Serious Power
To provide the power necessary to legitimately call the Mirabeau a race car, Leblanc selected a supercharged, 4.7-liter V-8 engine created by Koenigsegg. Koenigsegg is known world wide for creating supercars under their own brand. Of course, if speeds of over 250 mph the standard engine provide are not enough, you can always pay for a small upgrade and install a Formula 1 engine.

For those in tune with true performance, it goes without saying that the Leblanc Mirabeau is not just a car. In fact, it is really more than a supercar. It is a true racecar. The fact that it was designed for the streets just makes it that much more of a dream to serious vehicle enthusiasts everywhere.

Now owned by it's once most fiercefull rival Ferrari, Maserati made MC12, a two door coupe sports car which is designed first and foremost to annihilate its competition on the racing track in FIA GT Championship. While MC12's design is slightly related to the famous Ferrari Enzo, it is a truly respectable competitor not only to Lamborghini or Porsche supercars, but to Ferrari's own power beasts.
MC12 has a V12 engine that was down-tuned from the supercar Ferrari Enzo 660 PS to 630 PS (at 7000 rpm). However it remains a DOHC with 65 degree with four valves per cylinder.
MC12´ gearbox is also identical to the one used in Ferrari Enzo sports car, it´s Ferrari´s six-speed manual gear shifting box with paddles behind the steering wheel for quick and easy access.
Only 25 models of fast car MC12 were built in 2004 and another 25 in year 2005. Only the luckiest sports car and supercar collecting enthusiasts were able to obtain themselves one of these exotic car beauties.

One of the fastest supercars that ever was, Pagani Zonda F is a winner from the stable of famed Italian sports car manufacturer, Pagani. The mind-blowing finish and fit is made possible due to the modern carbon fiber construction which has been Pagani's forte in supercars for a long time now. The superior styling of the Pagani Zonda F sports car means that it is real competition to its counterparts manufactured by other leading automobile giants such as Ferrari and Porsche.
The Pagani Zonda F is a special edition car that takes on the modifications of another sports car from the home of Pagani, the C12-S Monza. The entire packaging though is vastly superior and the packaging more appealing. The result is a more powerful and yet lighter supercar that incorporates the best of technology and styling. The secret of the incredible speed of this fast car lies in its aerodynamic design. Every minute aspect in the design has been done with aerodynamics in mind. Even the relocated mirrors are a good example for attention to detail. The windows are placed in such a manner so to as to facilitate undisturbed flow of air. The rear diffuser and the large front splitter means that the stabilizing 'wings' on the sports car create a powerful down force. This enables this fast car to be so stable even at high speeds. The use of cutting–edge technology is evident when it comes to the braking system of the sports car. The low center of gravity and flat design of the car is designed in such a manner that the supercar comes to a screeching halt even when traveling at high speeds.
The Pagani Zonda F sports car zooms from 0 to 60 mph in a matter of 3.6 seconds. This amazing sports car is designed to achieve a top speed of 214 mph / 345 kph. All the amazing power inside the Zonda F is generated from the potent Mercedes–Benz V 12 engine. The 7.3 liter engine is capable of generating a whopping 620 bhp of pulsating power. There is also a 'club sport' version of the Pagani Zonda F sports car which is available. This model comes allows for 650 bhp. The larger brakes in this fast car means instant braking whether on the highways or inside the city. The wheels come with the latest titanium wheel nuts. This apart you can also find that most of the trimmings in the supercar are made up of carbon fiber. All these specifications reduce the weight of the sports car substantially. The car weighs around 1,230 kilograms (2,712 lbs) with an empty fuel tank.
The chrome-molybdenum alloy and other aluminum alloys used in the sports car make for the superior styling that is on offer. The upholstery features selected leathers. Fine craftsmanship has gone into making this racing car light, luxurious and fast. Once you tweak the keys and the engine comes alive, you will feel that the Pagani Zonda F sports car literally slices through the air. Apart from the speed, care has been taken to incorporate the latest safety features in the fast car. The user-friendly instrumental panel, which is ergonomically designed and placed, is one good example for the attention to details. Yet another good example for this aspect would be the 'Nardi' steering wheel. Anyone driving this car will feel as though his/her hands are directly in contact with the surface with this steering system. A fantastic combination of aesthetics and power is what you get with a Pagani Zonda F.

Top Speed: 196 mph / 315 kph
0-60 mph: 4 seconds
Engine: DOHC 5 / cylinder 4.3 liter V-8
Ferrari F430 supercar is a successor to the older (and slightly overrated) sports car 360 Modena. It features an all-new engine that does not share any components with the 360 Modena's engine. F430's 90-degree engine design derived directly from designs used in the Ferrari's Formula 1 engines. In fact, car name F430 came from its 4308 cc mid-engine which can produce 490 hp (361 kW) (an astonishing 114 hp per liter).
F430 supercar comes in two versions: a Coupe and an open top Spider, the latter being approx. $20,000 more expensive.
As of 28 July 2009 F430's successor has been announced, it's the Ferrari 458 Italia.
