The Chrysler Firepower concept car debuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. This concept sports car weights 3,380 lbs (1,533 kg). Based on the famous Viper (features a SLA Dodge Viper Suspension), but powered by the SRT8 drivetrain, Firepower brings a special racing abilities accompanied with unique comfort for a two-seated coupe. The sports car called Firepower which have been approved for mainstream production around 2007-2008 along with the next generation of Viper, may differ a lot from the concept presented here.
People responsible for the design of Firepower were: Exterior design by Brian Nielander, who is also known for his work on the ME-four-twelve concept; and interior design by Greg Howell.
